Klemen Kavčič (°1975) PhD, is Full Professor at the Faculty of Mangement, University of Primorska, Koper, Slovenia. He has a PhD from University of Primorska, Faculty of management, an MSc (Econ) from University of Maribor, Faculty of Economics and Business. He joined University of Primorska, Faculty of Management in autumn 2003 having previously spent several years in large industrial organization, Hidria Corporation, eventually becoming Strategic Business Unit Director. His current research interests include general and strategic management, complexity of organizations (instrument vs. interests), supply chain management and strategic outsourcing. He has published several scientific papers in international journals. He lectures in several graduate and post-graduate programs on Strategic management, Supply chain management and Management of Virtual Organizations. In 2015, prof. Kavčič was a visiting fellow at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Economics and Business, lecturing on strategic management and business strategy. From 2012 on, he is a visiting professor teaching Supply Chain Management in Finland at the Mikkeli University of Applied Sciences.Education
