About

There are no borders in science and education. The project of developing a common education programme carried out by the Moscow school of Economics and the Faculty of Management started under the circumstances full of challenges, which govern both the mission and vision of the common project. Joint education started by the project will most certainly contribute towards better and more efficient cooperation between the two states. The geostrategic position of Koper makes it possible for the Faculty of Management to become the launcher of a wider regional education and training initiative leading to top-notch professionals in the field of management, economics and finance who will be able to implement economic project in Russian economic environment. The project of common education in order to improve and increase collaboration among states will also contribute towards strengthening the visibility of both institutions in Russia and Europe. At the same time, the innovative project of the two young faculties with ambitions to foster international collaboration, values both academic collaboration and the dissemination of research results in the field of in-depth economic cooperation. A new door has been opened for the students in both countries.

Faculty of Management in Koper hosted renowned economist and strategist prof. dr. Vladimir Kvint, who delivered a lecture entitled Strategy for the Global Market: Theory and Practical Applications talked about strategy for the global market and terms of theory and usability.

On the initiative of the Faculty of Management, University of Primorska awarded Academician Alexander Nekipelov, Dean of Moscow School of Economics with the honorary doctorate of the University of Primorska.

The Slovenian delegation, headed by Minister of Economic Development and Technology Zdravko Počivalšek, meets with representatives of the Moscow State University in Moscow, Rector of the University of Primorska presents an initiative to establish a branch of MSU in Koper.

During the visit of the Minister of the Republic of Slovenia for Foreign Affairs Karl Erjavec with the Rector of the Moscow State University M. V. Lomonosov academician Viktor A. Sadovniči it was coordinated the text of the agreement between the University of Primorska and MSU, which represents the formal basis for the establishment of the branch in Koper MSU.

 

November 2016

A cooperation agreement between University of Primorska and Moscow State University M. V. Lomonosov to establish a joint educational and research center in Koper was signed in Koper.

 

February 2017

In Moscow, it was signed a Memorandum between the Government of the Republic of Slovenia and the Moscow State University Lomonosov M. V. Lomonosov to establish a branch of MSU in Koper in partnership with the University of Primorska. Faculty of Management and Moscow School of Economics in October 2017 will launch master's study program Economics and Finance, which will enable students to obtain a double degree.
