Ana Grdović Gnip earned her PhD title at the Faculty of economics, University of Ljubljana (bologna doctoral programme in Economics and Finance). Her doctoral thesis focused on the fiscal policy transmission mechanism and the efficiency of EU fiscal rules. Before the Faculty of management, she was employed as assistant professor at the Faculty of mathematics, natural sciences and information technologies (University of Primorska), where she still lectures. Her main research interests include macroeconomic effects of public policies and EU governance. Since 2018 she holds the Jean Monnet professor title and since 2020 she is member of the advisory committee for economics of the Croatian president. She participated in many international conferences such as the EABCN/Norges Bank Conference (Econometric methods for business cycle analysis, forecasting and simulations), the Banco de Espana & GSE Summer Forum (Fiscal Sustainability: XXI Century) or the Annual International Conference on Macroeconomic Analysis and International Finance. She is author of several scientific articles as well as referee for relevant journals. Moreover, she was involved in several international scientific research projects and was member of international conferences' program committee.
