Matevž Malej

English Bionote

Matevž Malej graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics in Ljubljana, majoring in theoretical mathematics. Before working at the Faculty of Management, he was professor of mathematics and informatics at the Gimnasium Koper for 13 years and head of training courses in the field of sport (windsurfing, snowboarding). Recently He is finishing his PhD in financial mathematics at UP, Faculty of Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Information Technologies. His research interests include research methods in the social sciences, mathematical modeling (biology, economics) and optimization. He is also dedicating his time to the promotion of STEM science among young people.
