Course purpose

The purpose of the course is to apply the main fields of Slovenian and international balance sheet and financial law in business practice in various workplaces. The focus is on the responsibilities of management and individuals and the use of the annual report and how to assess when a business is going to buy or sell, or bankruptcy or compulsory settlement.

  • Legal bases for accounting and financial law in business practice
  • Management responsibilities in the economy under accounting and financial law
  • The importance of the Annual Report and Disclosures as a fundamental document of accounting law
  • Basis for determining and dividing profit / surplus or. loss / deficit coverage
  • Preparation of internal acts based on accounting and financial regulations
  • Buying and selling a business
  • Compulsory settlement and bankruptcy of the company
  • Company valuation
  • International Accounting and Financial Law
