Content (Syllabus outline):
Professional development work 1 (SRD1) consists of:
SRD1 presentation and consultations (3 hours).
Mandatory activities (2 ECTS):
- Workshop 1A (D1A)
Literature study and search of relevant content, summarizing, respect for
authorship ... Students get the task to write a long assignment.
(4 hours + 23 hours of independent student work).
- Workshop 1B (D1B)
Teacher comments the written assignments, show mistakes, proposes
improvements and give instructions how to prepare and implement a
presentation.
(4 hours + 12 hours of independent student work).
- Workshop 1C (D1C)
Students present their written assignments.
Questions and discussion. (4
hours).
Selective activity (4 ECTS):
- partecipation on UP FM workshops and seminars
- or active participation on conferences and round tables on FM and elsewhere
- or participation in research and development projects in FM
- or publication and presentation of proffesional posts and articles on FM seminars
- or participation in FM and professional educational work
- or exceptional professional and academic achievement
- or participation in university reading seminars
- or tutoring.
(25 hours of independent student work).
Each student maintain a summary folder (portfolio) in which he collect his works for SRD and proof s of participation in SRD activities and other.
Completed activities must be to be in the area of study and in accordance with the Criteria for SRD
Professional development work 1 – practice (SRDP1) consists of:
SRD1 presentation of student’s obligations (1 hour).
Teacher presents to
students their obligations and course goals.
Solving business problem (19
hours + 55 hours of independent student work).
Mentoring students work on a
business problem (from study area) identified in a firm.
Students present
their solutions. Each student maintain a summary folder (portfolio) in which he
collect his works for SRD and proofs of participation in SRD activities and
other.
