  • historical overview of the agriculture land management and agriculture operations (land consolidation)
  • basics of spatial planning
  • legal framework for spatial planning: an international treaty, the Slovenian legislation, spatial planning policy of the Republic of Slovenia, foreign law

Structural element and the agricultural landscape management

  • the role and importance of the biotope, ecosystem, habitat, landscape elements and structures in the agricultural landscape management
  • water management and landscape planning in agricultural areas

Categorization of agricultural land

  • basic terminology: criteria, land size, coordinate system
  • soil map, soil types, soil number and production potential
  • land Registry and Cadastre

Degradation of soil and landscape

  • irreversible degradation: urbanization and erosion
  • reverse degradation: reforestation, soil pollution, reduction of biodiversity and organic matter level in soil
  • reclamation actions of degraded areas
