Milica Stupar is an HR professional with 12 years of experience across different industries. She graduated from the University of Belgrade in HR Management and began her career as a recruiter, later moving into retail and then spending seven years as an HR Business Partner in an IT and tech company. In that role, she managed the full employee life cycle, including recruitment, performance, coaching, company culture, engagement, and compensation. Recently, she took a short career break to focus on her master’s studies at the University of Primorska, Faculty of Management. During this time, she also joined an organization that organizes IT conferences, which allowed her to explore HR from a different perspective and connect with professionals in the tech world.

This lecture will explore the evolution of HR, from traditional administrative roles to more strategic positions and the creation of new specialized roles such as People Analytics Specialist and others. Further, it will cover practical HR tools, including HRIS systems, and discuss how AI is influencing various aspects of HR, with a focus on recruitment and employee operations. The lecture will be held in English on May 5, 2026, starting at 3 p.m
