Andrea is a diverse and experienced business manager with many people development skills including coaching, facilitating and training. Her 20-year experience has been gained in Sales, Training, Leadership & Organisational Development, and HR at both operational and strategic levels. Andrea moved to the University of Sheffield in 2013 as she has an active interest in the development and approaches to teaching that influence, motivate and inspire students to learn. Andrea nurtures her passion and interest in teaching at the Management School through her dedication, enthusiasm and positive attitude. Her interest in teaching is demonstrably clear to anyone who meets her and it is this interest and passion that are paramount to her students' success and achievements. Andrea has been awarded an early career Senate Award as a result of her innovative approach to teaching which has provided a significant contribution to the institution and to students.
During her teaching week at Primorska, Andrea is looking forward to working with a range of students covering topics such as teamwork, power and control within organisations, decision-making and leadership.
