Dr. Primoz Dolenc is a Vice Governor and Deputy Governor of the Bank of Slovenia. Prior taking the position of Vice Governor, he worked in the field of corporate banking as well as in the academic environment, as a Full Professor at the University of Primorska, Faculty of Management. As a researcher, he has participated in numerous research projects and published several hundred scientific and professional papers. 

 

 

 

 

Technological change, digitalization and many regulatory changes are just some of the challenges banks face. These challenges require a change in banks' business models coupled with high investments by banks, yet, at the same time, raise questions about increasing banks' exposure to risk. In his lecture, Dr. Primož Dolenc will outline the challenges that banks face and future trends in banking, also in perspective of macroeconomic outlook.

The lecture will be held in English.

The lecture will be delivered in english language and in the subject Financial Institutions: Work, Regulation, Risks in the Postgraduate Program Economics and Finance with Assist. Prof. Dr. Suzana Laporšek.
