2023 RSA Annual Conference Special Sessions

The annual conference of the Regional Studies Association (RSA), which will take place from 14 to 17 June 2023 in Ljubljana, will address various issues in the field of regional and economic development and planning. Assoc. Prof. Suzana Laporšek and Assoc. Prof. Ana Grdović Gnip are co-organizing a panel within the RSA Conference with the OECD - Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development.

The Regional Studies Association is a learned society that analyzes regions and regional issues. Through their international membership, they provide an authoritative voice of, and network for, academics, students, practitioners, policy makers. Several special sessions will be organised during the conference and an overview is available HERE

Assoc. Prof. Suzana Laporšek and Assoc. Prof. Ana Grdović Gnip, in cooperation with the OECD, invite you to submit abstracts for a special session on Productivity for Regional Growth and Cohesion. The panel will discuss the spatial determinants of productivity, how sub-national policies can foster regional productivity growth, and the implications of regional productivity differences for other socio-economic domains such as well-being, inequality, and resilience.

The deadline for abstract submission is February 28, 2023.
