We are pleased to invite you to the presentation of the book entitled "Pravo intelektualne lastnine", co-authored by Assoc. Prof. Elizabeta Zirnstein, lecturer and programme director of the second cycle Master's degree programme Law for Management at UPFM. It is the first work in Slovenia that deals with the field of intellectual property in a systematic and comprehensive manner. The book deals with the interplay of international, European, and national legal sources and the diversity of intellectual property rights.

The authors, including the UPFM lecturer Assoc. prof. Elizabeta Zirnstein, are renowned experts in the field of law, who have linked their theoretical background with practical guidance and numerous examples from practice. This approach brings the book closer to both lawyers and those who do not deal with law on a daily basis. It is a remarkable achievement in the field of legal scholarship, which also brings general cultural and civilisational values.

The event will take the form of a relaxed conversation, discussing the role and importance of intellectual property yesterday, today, and tomorrow. In addition to the authors, the presentation will be attended by distinguished legal experts, including Prof. Dr. Bojan Pretnar, the first and long-standing Director of the Industrial (later Intellectual) Property Office of the Republic of Slovenia, and the Diplomatic Representative of Slovenia to the WTO and SOIL.

The event, which will take place on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at 1. pm., in the hall of the Uradni list RS (167 Dunajska cesta, Ljubljana), is free of charge.
