The Assembly of the Association of Workers' Councils of Slovenia, at its meeting on 11 October 2022 in Ankaran, on the proposal of the Board, elected Assoc. Prof. Elizabeta Zirnstein, Lecturer at the UPFM, as the new Secretary General of the Association of Workers' Councils of Slovenia.
Assoc. Prof. Elizabeta Zirnstein is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of management, University of Primorska, Slovenia. She graduated in law from the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Law, where she also obtained her Master's and a Ph.D. degree in law. She also studied at Cambridge University, where she completed her specialization in European Law. Her research interest includes different areas of law, mainly Intellectual Property Law, Corporate law, and Labour Law with a special focus on innovativeness in employment relationships. Elizabeta Zirnstein authored several textbooks, articles, research reports, books, and book chapters.
