Dr. Denis Ahmetagić at UPFM as part of the Erasmus+ exchange programme

During the week of 8-12 May 2023, UPFM hosted research associate Dr. Deniz Ahmetagić from the University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Economics, took part in an Erasmus+ exchange for the purpose of training non-teaching staff.

The meeting's aim was to get to know each other and exchange knowledge and work experience from databases for tracking researchers' publications, research performance in connection with research project applications. He was welcomed and hosted by the Research Office at UPFM, Mihaela Kosančič, and the Certified head librarian at UPFM, Tanja Gregorič.

At UPFM we encourage international exchanges because the objectives of the Erasmus+ programme are to increase knowledge, skills, and employability, to modernize education, and training, and to increase initiative and entrepreneurship,... Key priorities explicitly supported by the programme are inclusion activities, preserving the environment (Green Erasmus+), and transitioning to a digital society. International exchanges often allow participants to improve their professional skills and knowledge. They also allow a global network of contacts and connections to be established. By communicating with professionals from other countries, relationships are established that can be useful for further collaborations, research projects, or career progression.
