Associate Prof. Patricia Blatnik, lecturer at the Faculty of Management, University of Primorska, is a researcher in the field of health economics. Her work focuses on finding ways to develop an efficient and quality healthcare system, focusing on optimising resources and increasing access to healthcare. In an interview with the Slovenian national daily newspaper Delo on September 14, 2023, she revealed that the main goal of her research is to ensure that patients receive healthcare services that are truly beneficial and improve their health while reducing unnecessary costs and burdens on the healthcare system.
