First VETWork newsletter

The first newsletter of the international project Erasmus + VETwork has been published. The project started in October 2020, and to date, the VETWork website has been set up, which is used not only for external communication purposes, but also as a platform for joint cooperation of project partners.

During this time, interviews were also organized in five partner organizations on a pre-defined standard set of questions related to digital pedagogical practice. Interviews with managers, teachers and students were conducted separately, in small groups, and based on these, Digital Pedagogy Strategies were developed.

Strategies have some common elements, which include:
• the future role of learning platforms such as MS Teams,
• creative pedagogy,
• teacher development.

The schools have assigned a total of 50 teachers to participate in the following phases of the project: online teacher training, workshops and pilot lessons.

In September 2021, a three-day joint meeting of partners was organized in Hungary. It was attended by pedagogical professional partners and they exchanged experiences and prepared for successful further cooperation with partner schools. They were introduced to the methods and tools that ensure successful intervention at the institutional level and the actual digital transition based on digital pedagogy strategies.

In the next phase of the project, the Digital Menu Card website in three languages (English, Hungarian and Slovenian) will be completed, and selected teachers from partner schools in the field of vocational education and training will be invited to an online learning experience on this platform.
