Innovative Collaboration: the CRPZ UPFM, InnoRenew CoE and the Area Science Park combine strengths within the Enterprise Europe Network project

In the framework of the Enterprise Europe Network, InnoRenew Centre of Excellence was visited by representatives of the Area Science Park from Trieste at the invitation of the Centre for Development and Knowledge Transfer of the University of Primorska.

At the kick-off meeting and networking event, which took place on Monday, 5th of February 2024 at InnoRenew CoE, the EEN Project Manager Francesca Marchi and the colleagues Lara Dipace and Alberto Soraci were present from the Area Science Park, Trieste. The work of InnoRenew CoE was presented by its Director, Prof. Dr. Andreja Kutnar, and her Assistant, Prof. Dr. Ana Sandak. The purpose of the meeting, which was facilitated by the UP CRPZ through the EEN (Enterprise Europe Network), was a first exchange of information on the possibility of organizing future business and research meetings and on possible business opportunities. The Director of InnoRenew CoE, Dr. Andreja Kutnar, presented a wide range of topics, projects, and research work at the Institute, which were further illustrated by Prof. Dr. Ana Sandak through a guided tour of the laboratories.

After the meeting, the colleagues from Area Science Park, Triest and in the framework of the EEN partnership, under the guidance of the Centre for Development and Knowledge Transfer (CRPZ UP FM), proposed a special InnoRenew guided visit to be organized in spring 2024 at the facility InnoRenew CoE, for companies from Trieste. The aim of this is to help transfer the research and knowledge of InnoRenew CoE to the cross-border economy and their creative-innovative entrepreneurial initiatives.
