MIC 2024, the Management International Conference with the theme Next Generation Challenges: Innovation, Regeneration and Inclusion, closed on Saturday 8 June.
The successful conference in Trento, Italy brought together 120 participants with 89 presentations in a lively academic community discussing all areas of management, economics, law with a special focus on sustainable development. Two excellent speakers, researchers, professors, Prof. Dr. Lučka Bogataj Kajfež and Prof. Dr. Francesco Testa raised a number of issues that we will need to address both as researchers and as citizens.
The MIC 2024 team of the Faculty of Management of the University of Primorska, consisting of senior lecturer, prof. Suzana Sedmak, Associate Prof. Dr. Anita Gnip Grdović, Staša Ferjančič Rosso, Robi Regoršek, Senior Lect. Matevž Malej and prof. dr. Anita Trnavčević prepared, organised and implemented the conference excellently. The outstanding partners, T4EU members from the University of Trieste, Prof. Dr. Donata Vianelli and Prof. Dr. Guido Bortoluzzi and colleagues, were for the second year in a row the partners of the MIC Conference. The MIC 2024 was hosted and partnered by the University of Trento with the outstanding team of Prof. Dr. Oksana Tokachuk, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bob Bastian and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Andrea Caputo. An interesting and challenging panel discussion on museum management was organised by Dr Maria Della Lucia and Dr Giuila Doro.

At MIC 2025 we will be accompanied by the words of Prof. Dr. Lučka Kajfež Bogataj: "This planet is perfect with one "flaw" - it doesn't grow! While our activities are growing! Economic growth is thirsty, so water scarcity is becoming a problem even in developed countries (not only in those associated with deserts)".
