We are pleased to announce the new issue of the professional journal Management, which brings you up-to-date professional content.
The first paper focuses on forecasting methods for sustainable development and their relevance in the field of higher education, while the second paper analyses the prices and volumes of housing sold in Slovenia in the period 2009-2020, based on micro-data on actual housing transactions. The third paper presents the results of a study on the relationship between labour productivity and employee engagement, based on the case of a selected company. In the fourth paper, the authors discuss the meaning and concept of macro-regional strategies in the European Union, placing macro-regional development in the context of cohesion policy and smart specialisation. In the fifth paper, the authors explore the role of competitive debate in the development of key competences for the future, such as creative thinking, critical thinking, and clear and respectful communication.
In the second part of the journal, I invite you to a review and announcement of events at the Faculty of Management and a special invitation from the Area Editor to submit articles exploring current management topics. I would like to thank all of you who have contributed to the second issue of Management in 2023 and, on behalf of the Editorial Board, I invite you to get involved as readers, idea generators, contributors and to spread the word about our journal.
