On the 29. 7. 2020, Lomonosov Institute hosted the Russian ambassador, His Excellency Timur Rafailovich Eyvazov.

During talks with our dean, prof. dr. Matjaž Novak, and the secretary general of the Lomonosov Institute Board of Trustees, Ante Levaj, the ambassador was familiarized with the Koper branch of Moscow state university Lomonosov, which is currently in the process of enrolling the forth generation of students into the double degree program in Economics and Finance. Our Russian guest expressed great satisfaction with the success of the cooperation between the two countries, as well as an interest to intensify the cooperation in the future.

As a part of the visit, His Excellency Timur Rafailovich Eyvazov was also greeted by the mayor of Koper, Aleš Bržan, as well as the rector of University of Primorska, prof. dr. Klavdija Kutnar.
