As part of the activities of the KTT 2.0 project, which is being implemented at UP FM CRPZ, we have - in the last 2 years - held a competition for the best invention of UP and helped two UP researchers to register and protect their inventions.

The patent application of prof. dr. Nejc Šarabon entitled "A device for measuring knee torque during static contractions in beddriden humans" is in the process of the so-called complete test; thus, the verification process or the invention meets all the legal conditions for patenting (substantive verification of novelty, inventiveness, and industrial applicability).

For the invention of prof. dr. Denis Trček and prof. dr. Borut Likar, entitled: "The process of mastering two-way interaction in the use of audio-video communication platforms using digital channels"; an international PCT patent application was successfully filed in February.

With the successful protection of the two inventions, we are contributing to the realization of the goals of UP's medium-term strategy in the field of raising research excellence and the potential for increasing the possibilities of cooperation with the private sector and the wider business environment.
