Visiting professor at the Faculty of management Viktor Prokop is currently analysing the impact of gender diversity and energy management on firms’ innovation radicalness in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jana Hojnik from the Faculty of Management, University of Primorska. Prokop’s stay at the Faculty of Management is therefore focused on deepening joint research and defining new research topics for future cooperation. He will be with us from May 8 to May 13.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Viktor Prokop is deputy head of the Science and Research Centre at the Faculty of Economics and Administration at the University of Pardubice (Czech Republic). Viktor Prokop received a Ph.D. degree in the field of Regional and Publics Economics from the University of Pardubice, Czech Republic, in 2017. In 2021 he was appointed Associate Professor in Regional and Public Economics. He is the author and co-author of more than 40 research papers, and he is associate editor in two scientific journals - Managing Global Transitions, and Scientific Papers of the University of Pardubice, Series D, Faculty of Economics and Administration. His research interests are innovation ecosystems, and (eco) innovation and its determinants. Prokop’s work has been published in journals such as Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, or Journal of Cleaner Production.
