Excellent in Science is a project implemented by ARRS - the Slovenian Public Agency for Research - to promote science. It is a selection of the most outstanding achievements of the past year, proposed for approval to the ARRS Scientific Council by members of the Scientific Research Councils of individual disciplines.

From 6 to 8 December 2022, the three-day scientific conference "Empowering learners" takes place at a global level. UPFM Lecturer, Dr Simona Kustec, is part of the scientific conference, with her contribution on Tuesday, 6 December 2022, when the participants of the panel discussed the developments regarding Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education in Europe and the regulatory framework put forward by the European Union.

The objectives of international exchanges are to increase knowledge, skills, and employability, to modernize education, training, and work for young people, to increase initiative and entrepreneurship, to boost self-confidence and self-esteem, to become more active in society, and, above all, to increase motivation for further education (formal and non-formal).

UP is setting up a new Alumni Office, where 6 Alumni UP will be employed. The employment will be for a fixed-term, full-time contract until 30 June 2025. The Alumni Office will ensure interdisciplinary cooperation between alumni from different fields of study and the environment. APPLY NOW!

On Thursday, 27 October, UP FM hosted an exceptional guest, Ms. Poonam Barua, Executive Director of WILL Forum India and Founder and Chairperson of the "Forum for #Women in Leadership". The guest was welcomed by the Dean of UPFM, Assoc. Prof. Tatjana Horvat.

What pushes us to seek knowledge, new challenges, and higher goals? Our inner strength. Nurture it, do not abandon it. As Dean of the UP Faculty of Management, I have taken my role very seriously, with a hint of caution, which has turned into courage and perseverance.
