We would like to inform you that the UP FM and UP PEF library will be closed until April 11th 2021, in accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia on the complete closure of the state. The reopening of the library in the form of on-call time is scheduled for April 15th 2021. We will inform you about any changes in due time.

At its 1st correspondence session, the Electoral Committee of the Student Council UP FM adopted a resolution determining the manner of conducting the elections on Wednesday, March 31st 2021, through the Helios Voting program. Mandatory voter identification will take place through the online platform ZOOM.

An Erasmus+ call for student mobility abroad (KA103) has been published for the Member States of the European Union, Liechtenstein, Turkey, Norway, Iceland, Serbia and Northern Macedonia for the purpose of study or practice from June 1st 2021 to September 30th 2022.

There really has never been such an exciting and fateful year as 2020. However, we have come to its near end and we can’t wait to find out what 2021 will bring us. We would just say that nothing can surprise us anymore. And yet ... we hope that 2021 will surprise us with an abundance of positive energy.

During our course Social entrepreneurship, we had the honor to meet the owners of Ekola and to speak with Špela Bobič and Igor Pribac. Ekola (let’s do something good) is a zero-waste store based in Koper. They sell everything you need in your daily life but without any plastic packaging.

From Thursday, November 12th 2020, the UP FM and UP PEF library will offer the acceptance of pre-ordered library materials according to NIJZ instructions. Entering the UP FM and UP PEF library is not possible. Students will be able to take pre-ordered materials without contact, outside of the library space.

In October during the lectures of course Social entrepreneurship-contemporary challenges, we hosted manager of cooperative KONOPKO, David Geršak. KONOPKO is Cooperative for the sustainable development of producing and processing hemp, z.o.o., social company.

At the end of this month The European Business Network for Corporate Sustainability and Responsibility (Europe CSR) is organizing The European Sustainable develpment goals Summit 2020 (European SGD Summit 2020), in which we'll promote our Sustainable development management master programme.
