Last week has Faculty of management hosted two professors from University of Tromso (Norway). The visiting professors from University of Tromso have visited our faculty within the Slovenian scholarship fund SI04, EGP and NFM (Slovenski štipendijski sklad SI04, EGP in NFM).

Prof. dr. Jan Yngve Sand and prof. dr. Stein Østbye are coming from School of business and economics, UiT – The Arctic University of Norway. They were invited by prof. dr. Štefan Bojnec, while they have met also dean of Faculty of management prof. dr. Matjaž Novak, coordinator for international exchange for teachers mag. Marijana Pregarac and head of academic affairs mag. Tatjana Trebec. Subsequent meeting involved also other representatives of the international office of University of Primorska.

The main topic of abovementioned meetings was related mainly to future possibilities pertaining to collaboration of both faculties and/or universities, especially in the field of students exchanges (undergraduate and postgraduate level). During the visit, the team designed also workshop for doctoral students, which will be held during the international scientific conference of Faculty of management MIC 2017 next May in the area of Venice.
