We are pleased to announce the publication of the new issue of the professional journal Management, which brings you up-to-date professional content.

On September 26th, 2023, at the Center Noordung in Vitanje, the national XR and Web4.0 partnership was established, aimed at fostering digital competencies. As a highlight, attendees witnessed the unveiling of a 3D avatar of Herman Potočnik Noordnung, powered by AI, which interactively engaged, moderated, and even answered questions. The event was also attended by assist. dr Peter Štrukelj, a member of the ThinkXR research team from UPFM.

From the very beginning, the CRPZ of the University of Primorska, Faculty of Management, has been proudly participating in the work of the Enterprise Europe Network - Slovenia, Europe's largest entrepreneurial support network, which this year also marks 15 years since its establishment. This year also marks the 30th anniversary of the Single European Market.

On September 8, 2023, the Slovenian Research and Innovation Agency (ARIS) published the results of the selection of applications for the Call for Proposals for Co-funding of Longer-Term Large Research and Innovation Collaborative Programmes in the TRL 3-6 scale.

June 2023 brought an exceptionally successful 22nd International Conference MIC, which this time took place as part of the international week of the European University Transform4Europe (T4EU week) at the University of Trieste.

Between August 29th and September 1st, 2023, the 17th Congress of the European Association of Agricultural Economists titled "Agri-Food Systems in a Changing World: Connecting Science and Society" took place in Rennes, France.

The project intends to increase, the corporate population of small and medium-sized enterprises, the transnational partners’ reference contexts, and the special skills, and knowledge of digital, cross-cultural international business management. A video presentation of the project is now available.

Center Rotunda, in collaboration with the Faculty of Management of the University of Primorska, has opened the doors of a coworking space in Koper: "Creating an Efficient Supportive Environment for Social Enterprises."

UPFM has been awarded the ThinkXR project under the Norwegian Financial Mechanism (EEA 2014-2021), which aims to establish a curriculum and new teaching modules in the field of augmented and virtual reality. The project is led by Prof. Dr. Borut Likar.
