On Thursday, February 20th, a Symposium and Academic Assembly for employees took place at the Faculty of Management.

The agenda included the following points:

12:15 – 13:00: Dean, Prof. Dr. Tatjana Horvat presented the report on the significant achievements and future challenges of the Faculty of Management.

13:00 – 13:30: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ana Slavec introduced innovations in the field of open science and their impact on research work.

13:30 – 14:00: Prof. Dr. Simona Kustec discussed the work of the UP Ethics Committee in research, particularly those involving work with humans.

14:00 – 15:00: At the conclusion of the event, various questions and suggestions were discussed.

The event was an excellent opportunity for exchanging opinions among employees and enabled a deeper discussion on key topics affecting research and teaching activities at the faculty. Additionally, it provided an opportunity to learn about the latest developments in open science and ethical guidelines that are essential for the further development of research.
