Research visit of Prof. Dr. Štefan Bojnec and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sergej Gričar to the Kingdom of Norway

Prof. Dr. Štefan Bojnec UP FM and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sergej Gričar UNM were on a research visit to the Kingdom of Norway between 6 and 10 September 2025. During this time, they via Oslo visited the partner institution Faculty of Business, Languages and Social Sciences, Østfold University College on the Halden campus and the university campus in Fredrikstad.

International Collaboration Aimed at Developing Innovation and Entrepreneurial Initiatives

Representatives of the Faculty of Management at the University of Primorska, Prof. Dr. Armand Faganel, Vice-Dean for Public Relations and Quality Assurance, and Prof. Dr. Simona Kustec, Head of the Center for Knowledge Development and Transfer at FM and former Minister of Education of the Republic of Slovenia, visited the Faculty of Organization and Informatics in Varaždin.

Bilateral project between the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts - UP Faculty of Management in Koper and the Hungarian Academy of Sciences

Between 2 and 6 September 2025, Prof. DDr. Imre Fertő, Dr. Zoltan Bakucs and Dr. Lajos Baráth from ELTE, Centre for Economic and Regional Studies, Institute of Economics in Budapest visited the UP Faculty of Management in Koper within the framework of the bilateral cooperation project between the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts (SAZU) in Ljubljana and the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (HAS) in Budapest. They were continuing research activities with host Prof. Dr. Štefan Bojnec.

Orientation Days 2025

Before the start of the new academic year, UP will host Orientation Days on 29 and 30 September. The event is designed for degree-seeking international students as well as exchange students joining UP from partner institutions. Orientation Days offer a chance to meet fellow international students, discover the new academic and social environment, and connect with the people who will shape their study experience.

UP FM successful in the Erasmus+ KA2 call: »Bridging Gaps – Second-Hand Ventures for Sustainable Development and Inclusion«

The University of Primorska, Faculty of Management has received funding under the Erasmus+ KA2 programme for the project "Bridging Gaps – Second-Hand Ventures for Sustainable Development and Inclusion", which will begin on September 1, 2025. The project team at UP FM includes Prof. Dr. Anita Trnavčević, Senior Lecturer Mag. Suzana Sedmak, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ana Arzenšek.

Go on mobility with the CEEPUS network

Most of you are probably familiar with the Erasmus + possibility of student mobility abroad, right? International exchanges are also made possible by the CEEPUS program, which consists of Central European countries, where you can also do research at some institutions abroad for your final thesis or go to lectures and take exams.The decision is yours.
