Between 2 and 6 September 2025, Prof. DDr. Imre Fertő, Dr. Zoltan Bakucs and Dr. Lajos Baráth from ELTE, Centre for Economic and Regional Studies, Institute of Economics in Budapest visited the UP Faculty of Management in Koper within the framework of the bilateral cooperation project between the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts (SAZU) in Ljubljana and the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (HAS) in Budapest. They were continuing research activities with host Prof. Dr. Štefan Bojnec.

Before the start of the new academic year, UP will host Orientation Days on 29 and 30 September. The event is designed for degree-seeking international students as well as exchange students joining UP from partner institutions. Orientation Days offer a chance to meet fellow international students, discover the new academic and social environment, and connect with the people who will shape their study experience.

The 18th Congress of the European Association of Agricultural Economists (EAAE) was held at the University of Bonn in Germany from 26 to 29 August 2025, which was also connected with the 50th anniversary of the EAAE.

The University of Primorska, Faculty of Management has received funding under the Erasmus+ KA2 programme for the project "Bridging Gaps – Second-Hand Ventures for Sustainable Development and Inclusion", which will begin on September 1, 2025. International exchanges are also made possible by the CEEPUS program, which consists of Central European countries, where you can also do research at some institutions abroad for your final thesis or go to lectures and take exams.The decision is yours.
