University of Primorska, Faculty of Management (UP FM) is publishing a Call for Enrolment into master programmes for academic year 2024/2025 for three master study programmes in English language:

Application deadlines
A candidate for enrollment in master's study programmes at the University of Primorska can submit a maximum of three applications, with each completed submission of an electronic application in the eVŠ web portal being considered an application.
The candidate applies with a qualified digital certificate, AAI account or username and password via the SI-PASS system. More detailed instructions for applying to the call are published in the Common provisions.
Candidates (Slovenian citizens and citizens of EU Member States, Slovenes without Slovenian citizenship and foreigners from non-EU countries and candidates for enrollment according to the transferring criteria) apply for places within three or four application deadlines:

Recognition of foreign education
Candidates who have completed comparable studies abroad and who, in accordance with the Evaluation and Recognition of Education Act, have been granted the right to continue their studies in a study programme in the process of recognitio of foreign education may also enroll in master's degree programmes. Candidates who have completed their education abroad prove the fulfillment of admission criteria in the first or higher year with a decision on the recognition of foreign education.
- A candidate with a foreign diploma, who already has a decision on the recognition of education for the purpose of continuing education, follows the instructions for submitting proof of fulfillment of admission criteria when applying. The decision, together with all the evidence, is uploaded electronically via the portal.
- For a candidate with a foreign diploma, who does not yet have a decision on the recognition of education for the purpose of continuing education, it is considered that the completed electronic application form (in eVŠ on the web portal: http://portal.evs.gov.si/prijava ) is also considered as an application for recognition of foreign education. The candidate who submits an incomplete application or application for recognition of education for the purpose of continuing education will be additionally informed about the request and the deadline for submitting evidence.

Admission documents
Scanned documents or photographs of original documents are considered as proof of fulfillment of admission critearia. All required proofs are attached electronically (e-copy or photo) via the eVŠ portal. Candidates do not send anything by regular mail.
Candidates applying for the 1st Year of studies who hold a Slovenian diploma must submit the following documents to the application:
- Copy of the diploma certificate – mandatory document.
- Transcript of records or Diploma Supplement: copy of transcript of records of previous studies which includes a GPA or a copy of the Diploma Supplement in English language – mandatory document.
- Proof of English language skills at B2 level or similar – mandatory document.
*Graduates of the Faculty of management do not need to submit a copy of their diploma and transcripts.
Candidates applying for enrolment in parallel studies must submit:
- Copy of the Trascript of records including a GPA,
- Copy of the Approval of the higher education institution of first enrolment
Candidates transferring between study programmes must submit:
- Copy of the diploma certificate – mandatory document if the candidate has alearady obtained a diploma.
- Copy of the Transcript of records with GPA or Diploma Supplement – mandatory document.
- Copy of all the syllabuses approved by the higher education institution of the first programme – mandatory document.
Candidates who hold a foreign diploma are requested to submit the following documents for the process of recognition of foreign education:
- A copy of the diploma certificate, which the candidate wants to be recognized in the process recognition of foreign education for continuing education in the Republic of Slovenia - the document does not need to be legalized - the authenticity of the document will be verified with the issuing institution – mandatory document.
- Copy of the Transcript of records with GPA or Diploma supplement (in English language) – mandatory document.
- Translation of above documents (diploma certificate, transcript): a copy of a translation into Slovene by a licenced translator - obligatory only if the document is not in Slovene, Italian, Croatian or English.
- Proof of content and duration and completed obligations during education - certificate of passed exams or diploma supplement, which should also include GPA.
- A short chronological description of the entire education prepared by the candidate – mandatory document.
- Web address or link of the University and the Faculty where the candidate completed his / her education and web link to the data on the study programme – mandatory document.
- Copy of identity document - personal data page: citizens of EU Member States submit a copy of an identity card or passport, citizens of non-EU countries submit a copy of a passport.
The list of required documents for recognition of foreign education may differ according to the state from which the document originates.

Admission exam
To enroll in the 1st year of the master's study programme in Economics and Finance, candidates must pass an analytical skills test in the field of economics and mathematics. The dates of the admission exams will be published on the website Admission and prerequisite exams. Candidates will be notified in writing of the results of the test and admission to the study programme.
Prerequisite exams
Graduates of other professional fields can also enroll in the 1st year of master's programme if they pass a prerequisite bridging programme before enrollment, as stated in the admission criteria for a study programme. Exam deadlines for prerequisite exams are published on the website Admission and prerequisite exams.
Candidates who must complete the prerequisite programme (exams) in order to meet the admission criteria are reminded that in case of limited enrollment places in the first application period, only the the candidates who fulfill admission criteria by the application deadline will be ranked and considered for admission.
Candidates who intend to apply for recognition of knowledge for the content of subjects of the prerequisite programme for the purpose of fulfilling the admission criteria shall submit an application together with evidence to the Commission for recognition of knowledge and skills by 16 August 2024.
Enrolment
Admitted candidates will receive an invitation for enrollment, with detailed instructions and deadlines for enrollment and other important information related to the study programme. ENROLLMENT in master's study programmes must be completed no later than 30 September 2024.
