Conditions for academic progress

A full-time student can progress to the 2nd year if he / she completes academic obligations of at least 45 ECTS .

Conditions for repeating a year

A full-time student may repeat the 1st once in the course of his/her studies if he/she have completed at least 30 ECTS of the 1st Yearr. As a rule it is not possible to repeat the  final year. The student may however extend the status for one year after final year to fulfill missing obligations. 

Graduation

The student graduates when he / she completes all 120 ECTS academic obligations of the programme which consist of mandatory courses, module and elective courses, prepares and presents a master's thesis.

If a student is enrolled according to transfer criteria into the 2nd year, he / she must complete at least all mandatory courses of the selected module and a master's thesis in order to complete this programme. He can transfer other credit points from other educational institutions, obtain them through mobility in Slovenia or abroad, or apply for recognition of knowledge and skills acquired before enrollment.

The student can replace the master's thesis with professional research work performed during the study in this study programme. The decision on recognition is made by the competent commission of UP FM.
